Hello Again!
I hope you enjoyed that last blog and that it helped bring some peace to your lives.
Make no mistake, I am no fan of the media, social or otherwise. They are chaos merchants- always have been, always will be!
People really have no reason to hate each other or want to kill one another unless they are really, really, REALLY given a reason- that reason always being some kind of lie or other such crap.
Watch how you react to the news, do you get mad, depressed? Do you want to bash someone’s head in, or quit life?
They gotcha!
Shut the crap off, and get healthy. Get back in communication with your friends, neighbors, and co-workers. They are generally good people trying to do the best they can. They can probably use your help and THIS IS THE GROUNDWORK THAT LEADS TO HEALTH, HAPPINESS, AND LONGEVITY SO MANY SEEK!
Here’s something you can try, and a question you should probably ask of most you encounter in your life,
“What’s your reference?”
When someone tells you it’s this way or that, simply ask,
“What’s your reference?”
In other words, from where did you get his “news” item?
When you go see the doctor, and they say, “Blah, blah, blah, and you need to blah, blah, blah, and I definitely wouldn’t blah, blah, blah….”
“What’s your reference?”
Expect people to get upset with you, because they are the “experts”, but remember… the angry man lies!
If someone can calmly, and matter of factly show you where they got what they are telling you, you can read it for yourself and make up your own mind. You should never have to believe someone because they told you so!
This is a pretty cool trick and will probably keep you out of more snake pits than you can shake a stick at, especially with sooooo much nonsense from the media.
To me, thinking for oneself is about the healthiest thing he or she can do if one wants to live a long and healthy life!
Most of the stuff we hear and are told is meant to do the exact opposite. That’s not very healthy, is it?
Take Care,
Dr. Dave
