Hello!
As usual, thank you for reading along!
If you have been following these blogs for the past year or so you will notice that I don’t really give advice or tell you what to do.
At the very least, which is probably the most, I encourage you to live; and with others, create the life you want to live. This concept or idea is and was a very fundamental starting point for any time you wished to be alive and living. You and your cohorts created life.
With this in mind, this too becomes a basic fundamental to health and wellness- creating life. Not just living the one that has been handed to you or created for you, but one that you create.
You’ll also notice that I don’t tell you what life and living are- it’s for you to decide, and feel free to change your mind as many times as you would like.
I often feel a little downhearted when I hear of some high school student trying to decide what college they are going to attend, and at 16 or 17 years old, and with no wisdom and very little life experience trying to decide what pigeon hole they will shove themselves into for the rest of their lives… and again, all of this without really having lived!
My son Austin is one of the brightest people I know, and has recently achieved his third decade of life, he told his mom that he believed young men truly do not mature until they are 30 years old!
Somehow he felt that he had finally “grown-up.” By my reckoning, that’s about 12 to 14 years from when he was supposedly grown enough in high school to simply decide his life. That was nearly half his entire lifetime ago.
But getting back on topic my blogs are meant only to encourage you to set out on your journey, and seek your fortune, whatever that may be. To me, this is the only way to truly be healthy and well- create the life you want to live, and while you are doing so you will find yourself very much alive, healthy, and well!
Before I end, I’ll leave you with a few quotes from Lao Tzu, Chinese philosopher, author of the Tao Te Ching, and contemporary of Confucious in the 6th century B.C,
“Watch your thoughts, they become your words,
Watch your words, they become your actions,
Watch your actions, they become your habits,
Watch your habits, they become your character,
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.”
Kind of heavy, but ultimately you and the world you live in come from your very thoughts.
This is another point I have been trying to makeover these past many blogs.
As Lao Tzu once said,
“At the center of your being you have the answer, you know who
you are, and you know what you want.”
See? You don’t need anyone telling you what to do or think!
Go out there and do it to it! I’m rootin’ for ya!!!!
Take Care,
Dr. Dave

So basic and so true, yet mostly lost in our civilization.
Hi Eric,
Sadly you are right. It really shouldn’t be that difficult to get along and help others win. It’s the only way to life and win in one’s own life, in my opinion.

Very intrresting blog.Just wondering that I do not see any LRH quotes in your blogs. Maybe I missed it when you did.
Yes, in earlier blogs there are a number of L. Ron Hubbard quotes. In fact, it was through Mr. Hubbard I learned about Lao Tzu. I think in an upcoming blog, I do have a very interesting quote from LRH, and another one concerning beingness. Stay tuned!
As always, thank you for reading along. It means a lot to me.

There are many stages of a life. You can take as many paths as it takes to achieve your goals. I do think that interjection of information to another’s life, is key. It challenges your thinking. When we are challenged, we tend to take more cautions steps in critical moments. It’s later in our age do we appreciate those who help influence who we are now. Hence your admiration for your son.
That’s very true. I was once asked what I would like to accomplish this life time. I can’t tell you how overwhelmed I was with the desire to line up everyone who ever cared about me, loved me and had helped over the past trillions of years, and make sure they understood how truly thankful and grateful I was- a true acknowledgement in the deepest meaning of that concept. It is quite heavy to realize how much we truly “owe” each other for this incredible opportunity, and how none of us would be here if we didn’t take the time to make sure others were here also.
Thank you for commenting on the blog.
