2/3 – Hello!

Welcome back! This is the second installment in a series of three.

Were you able to start reading The Circadian Code and Genius Foods?

I hope so. There is really nothing I can say that these guys don’t say in their books and say in such an easy-to-understand manner.

I say this from the experience of nearly 40 years in health care.

I understand it is one of the rules, you know, death and all that, but human suffering just absolutely destroys me…, I just want to pick up my sword and start on my hero’s journey. I know I can’t save everyone, but I can certainly try!

Besides, I’ve really got nothing better to do!

Okay, I left the last blog on a negative note concerning the circadian code so, let’s look at it from another perspective, shall we?

  1. A person needs 7-9 hours of sleep each and every day, and on a routine schedule. This is when our bodies undergo routine maintenance, repair, recovery, and rejuvenation. This Holiday, take a look at all of your friends and relatives, and every time you think,

“Boy, I hope that doesn’t happen to me….”

Remember to get 7-9 hours of sleep!

  1. To this, a person should limit his or her eating to a Time Restricted Eating window of fewer than 12 hours each day-(10 to 11 is even better!) that is the time between a person’s first bite in the morning and last bite each day, and again on a routine schedule. This last bite should be approximately 2-4 hours before going to bed. Again, this is to ensure proper sleep and allow our bodies to repair on schedule every day.
  2. Solar breaks are vital, that is upon waking in the morning go outside and let daylight get into your eyes. This would be without any glasses or sunglasses or contacts. A person should also try to do this several times a day. It is great for helping a person wake in the morning and starts all the hormonal activities necessary to fall asleep at night.  (Wow, this is the third time he’s mentioned sleep!)
  3. And what more can I say about exercise? Strength resistance exercises and cardio are the most important. There are sooooo many amazing things exercise does, and you don’t need to work out 5 hours each day.

In their books The Circadian Code and Genius Foods, Satchin and Max discuss the details concerning exercise, and you should check it out.

If you have any questions concerning exercises, Austin and Anderson of Paragon Chiropractic, our Certified Personal Trainers can give you easy-to-do pointers that can make all the difference in the world.

I would love to answer any questions you might have in implementing any of the points found in either book or help you in any way that I can.

These two books could easily help you avoid all of those “nasties”, and by “nasties”, I do mean diseases and disorders that would make your life not worth living.

Please…, get your copies of these books and start reading. You can do it, and I suppose you’re gonna hafta! There is no one else who can for you. Again, you are the problem and more importantly also the solution.

All right, so let’s leave it at that for now. Again, anything I could tell you is in those two amazing books.
