Hello!
Alright, thanks for following along. If you would prefer to listen to Dr. Dave and Austin discuss this VLOG, CLICK HERE!
So we saw in the previous blog some pretty astonishing numbers of those with diseases and disorders and the importance of learning how to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Interestingly, in April of 2022, Forbes Magazine printed a paper entitled “Clinicians of the Future” in which 3000 practicing doctors and nurses were asked their opinions on the future of healthcare.
Of the respondents, 56% reported that over the past 10 years, there has been a growing empowerment among patients who are taking charge of their health journeys.
Not to sound like a wise acher, but I wonder why.
This whole medical model of you doing what you want, getting sick, and then seeing some doctor who will give you a pill or surgery simply does not work. It never did.
Pills or not, if one is still pursuing a lifestyle of unhealthiness and illness, he will continue to grow sicker and sicker until the end.
It is thought that 90% of adults 65 and older are currently taking prescription medications of which those between 65 and 69 are taking on average 15 medications, while those between 80 and 89 are taking 18 each day.
Yeah, but they’re old, right?
Seventy-five percent of 50- 64-year-olds and 51% of 30 – 49-year-olds are currently taking prescription medications, while 38 % of 18-29 year-olds are on prescription medications-10% of which are taking 4 or more prescriptions per day, as does the average 45-year-old.
Have I sold you on the idea of being your own healthcare provider yet?
Again, I am urging each of you to get a copy of Dr. Seaman’s The Deflame Diet and join us at the Paragon Chiropractic Book Club which is held on the last Thursday of each month.
Can’t wait?!?
Well, schedule an appointment and we can get started as soon as you are ready!
Beats the hell out of getting miserably ill and becoming a burden to all that you love, and who love you!
Take Care,
Dr. Dave
