Alright!

Hello, and Welcome Back! Would you prefer to follow along? If so, CLICK HERE!

Many years ago when I first started as a chiropractor I worked for an old timer who helped me get into chiropractic college, gave me my first job, and taught me many of the magic tricks that he knew- kind of a whole Merlin and King Arthur thing!

This old chiropractor was an amazing wizard in my opinion.

I recall several times patients going up to the window after their treatment and the doctor’s wife asking when the doctor wanted them to come back.

Some would sigh and say,

“I guess at the end of the week.”

The doctor’s wife would stop them right there and ask,

“Did Doc say he could help you?”

“Well, yes.”

“Well, God help you if he said he couldn’t!”

I never forgot that, because if old Doc didn’t think he could help you, you were officially screwed.

I tell you this story because I have known several patients not only in my office but in other practices as well where nothing could be done for them- they were beyond help.

That doesn’t mean the Grim Reaper was standing right there, and many of them went on slowly dying for several years.

And in each case, it wasn’t that they could never have been helped, but rather that their health issues had gone on too long, uncorrected and there no longer was the possibility of remedy.

In every case, the initial cause, the thing that sent the cascade of health problems in motion was chronic, unresolved inflammation, and I’m not talking about just back pain, or a sore knee that wouldn’t come right.

I’m talking about cancers, dementia, neurologic disorders, diabetes…, you name it. Diseases that we’ve been told that through some unfortunate turn of fate, we somehow contracted.

This isn’t the case and never was.

Every disease known to man is the result of several pathways and events that began from the processes and biochemistry of uncontrolled, chronic inflammation that finally one day make themselves known as Zorchilitis of the Thrombolysis, or some such disease, conditions for which there is no known cure.

But you know what, one can follow the pathways back upstream to the headwaters, and by making corrections the best they can, undo many of the steps or phases that accumulated to become some incurable disease.

Now many of the diseases might be chronic neck or lower back pain, hip pain, or headaches, things that seem fairly innocuous, but these are waypoints on the pathways that will ultimately lead to the end.

Do you see where a chiropractor, a good chiropractor would be so important- not the guys who are crinkling plastic bottles and making cracking noises as if trying to “gross out” the girls on the playground with worms, but good chiropractors who know that these chronic pains might be the forecaster of the worst to come, and start a patient on a route to address unresolved, chronic inflammation BEFORE it has a chance to take root.

“Oh, I know why my knee hurts, I play too much tennis”, and perhaps this is so, but it doesn’t explain why the knee won’t heal and get better.

“Oh, and if it doesn’t then there is always surgery”, but the magic sauce of any surgery and its success or failure is the body’s ability to heal which has already been demonstrated to not be able to do so.

Just a curious question.

Has any healthcare practitioner you’ve seen recently discussed the importance of handling chronic inflammation?

You know, this is the only way, to spend time treating a disease or disorder that is still being caused is a waste of time, and will eventually make you sicker.

You know, before we end here and I get ready to write about how to address chronic inflammation, I should tell you a little more about The Great Wizard Chiropractor, and that is this:

For all the patients he had helped over the many years, and this includes myself as I am still able to walk, he wasn’t able to help himself

He was overweight and diabetic and all because of chronic unresolved inflammation. In the end he couldn’t treat patients he sat in a wheelchair and told another chiropractor what to adjust. He finally lost his foot and died of a heart attack all too young.

I don’t know if he would have listened to me but the sad irony of the whole thing is for as many people as he helped, and for all he had done for me, I now possess the technology that could have saved his life…, but it’s too late!

Alright, well if you can’t wait for the next video give us a call and we can get you started on how to resolve chronic inflammation, become metabolically flexible, and most importantly find that fat switch and turn it ON!!!!!

Take Care,

Dr. Dave
